This kit uses some of the same componenets found on Mustang Cobras and Corvettes. We personally run this kit on our supercharged track cars. Since is uses common parts, there are many brake pad choices available from a mild street pad to a full "race only" pad. We can recommend other pad compounds depending on what you want. Multiple rotor choices are available including drilled and slotted, but you will see the best performance and life with smooth rotors.
Kit includes:
- New SHO machined PBR dual piston aluminum calipers
- New caliper brackets
- New slider pins
- New 13" premium smooth rotors (you may upgrade to slotted or drilled/slotted in the options)
- New brake line crush washers
- Instructions
Kit does not include any brake pads. You will need to buy a set of Stage 3 pads to complete this kit. We personally recommend HPS for normal street driving or HP+ for aggressive street or light track usage. We personally recommend smooth rotors if you plan to track your car as they wll last longer and are less prone to cracking.
Tech Notes
This kit requires a minimum 17" wheels. We highly recommend braided stainless brake lines with this kit, although it will work with minor modification to the stock brake lines.
